I know I shouldn't but I just cannot resist the health section on a Tuesday and today is not a good one. The young man who thought he had palpitations but it was atrial fibrillation ( eek my fear) and the woman with an insulin producing tumour so she had lots of low sugar attacks ( eek I do ) etc etc.
why do we torment ourselves like this!

I like to read the news online, so I can't control what will pop up, but of course I had to come across someone who died after surgery! I have minor surgery coming up soon :(

It's so hard to avoid scary health stories, even worse when they make me scared of something I never ever worried about before :(

But I guess for every bad story we here they are 100's of good ones we never hear about :)

I don't buy it myself but there's always a copy around where I live.

There's some really good stuff in there sometimes, the problem is they do delight in the shock stories, which I think is totally wrong. They also have a habit of heralding some new treatment or approach, and then a few weeks later they run an article saying it's useless or even dangerous :lac:

If you have serious HA then it's probably best avoided.
