just ate a mousse that was out of date from 6th sept.... the last mouthfull tasted funny. will the worse it will do is make me throw up?

it will be fine you feel sick cos your thinking about it calm down and distract your self.

have you never heard people go skip ratting for food thats out of date the date is onlu a guide line any way

You will be fine I'm sure, I once drank milk 4days out of date in a cuppa while preg and were both fine n that was milk! Calm down and go

Hi

It is really unlikely to cause you any problems.... best before dates are very cautious anyway and the products are likely to be fine for much longer than suggested. I would be more worried if it was a meat product but with a mousse really am sure you are fine. Symptons probably coming from all the worry. x

The latest news is that they are changing many ''Eat before'' dates.
I wouldn't worry.. In the olden days they use to scrape mould off yoghurts & cheese! x

When I was a kid there were no dates on anything. It was a look, smell and decide thing.
I still use that rule anyway. And now I date an item when I open it just so I know how long it has been opened.

i was just calming over this but theres been blood in my stools today. yesterday i hiccuped 4 an hour n burped all day long. so worried again. the bottom of the mousse tasted rank.
