I have been working with a therapist on positive thinking and I just cant seem to do it. I am in panic mode almost all the time and all I can think is Oh God I am going to lose it or die

Anyone else

Start by changing the language you using. Change cant for can!! It doesn't matter whether you believe it or not yet. You just have to change things bit by bit. The act of saying you can do something actually chips away at the negativity. Also when you say I can do something then nod your head in approval.

Baby steps, you will start to change bit by bit. Also try to be really aware of the negative things you say about yourself. Catch it everytime and say the opposite. You have to be really pro acive in catching yourself. It does take time and effort but you will start notching a difference.

You CAN do it.
