View Full Version : Can you have IBS without obvious symptoms?

Just wanted some ideas - I have no trapped wind (from either end!) no diahorrea, stools all as normal, no urgency, no lower abdomen cramp, no indigestion, no acid. Occasional very small burps, in fact less now than at any other period in my adult life!

I do have constant (not coming and going) tenderness and swelling on the left in my ribs, lower left back pain, upper left back pain, twinges in the groin (ovary area), pressure on the bladder, gets worse at night, at its very worst in the morning - feels like something about the size of a full term baby is moving violently - had this for 8+ weeks, getting a little bit worse. And feels like I have an egg stuck in my throat. Only other symptom is dizziness. But symptoms are constant, they never go away.

I don't think that ties in with IBS - what do actual sufferers think?

Well to be honest no one seems to have the exact same symptoms although a lot do co-incide.

If I were you I would see a doc about this - it sounds like you have got something trapped rather than a stomach problem.
