Pain above knee

Everytime I walk theres a burning pain above my knee (my thigh)
What could this be? its only happened in the last hour, only hurts like a stinging feeling when I walk as I'm sitting now its fine!

Sorry to be so blunt honey but are you overweight? Or have you been exercising this weekend?

I am and from time to time get aching joints and muscles - I am aching in my thighs, knees and ankles right now from lots of exercise over the weekend.

Take some painkillers and get a hot water bottle on the job - it will be fine:)
