Sharp Pain in Breast

Hi,

I just started getting a sharp pain in my right breast. It only lasts for a second or two but it's quite painful. I can't feel any lumps at all.

Probably just hormone changes depending on where you are in your cycle-but if it carries on probably best to get it checked out.

I agree will be hormonal - I get this from time to time. Pain in brest is rarely a sign of anything sinister and from what I have read it is constant pain you should get checked out - though even then most likely nothing to worry about

Personally I would give it at least 2 weeks to see if its just a hormone surge causing this as when I was in my early 40's and approaching the peri meno I got breast pain for up to 2 weeks a month for a few months and it was just hormones - Ionly ever had it in left breast as well.
