After having too many side effects from my meds I am quitting and going cold turkey, I have been on fluoxetine 20mg for 24 days and had symptoms like diarrhoea for the first week and stomach cramps which settled down into week two and I had vivid dreams when I did manage to sleep due to the insomnia they caused and when I started getting heavy sweats from as well as decreased sex drive I went to see my doctor and he changed my meds to venlafaxine 37.5mg of which I take twice daily and after two days on these and my fluoxetine I quit as I have always had a very healthy sex life with my fiancee of 8 years and the lack of my sex drive whilst on my meds got worse to the point where I had sexual disfunction and cannot ejaculate for the life of me. A problem I have never had until taking these meds. So it was the last straw as I want my life back and I would rather just have my shortness of breath and panic attacks than suffer the massive array of symptoms. So 26 days and I quit I am going to see my doctor Monday and see what he can suggest.
