Numbness in leg

For some reason my legs instantly go numb when I sit on a hard chair or plastic chairs it's horrible ! Im getting really worried something is wrong with my heart or some circulation or something :/ anyone else have this?

Hi hun not so much getting numbness im getting pain and pins and needles is it in both legs? Have u been 2 doc?

Yes I have this problem and have had for a long time, have you had any injuries to your back?

no i haven't been to the docs or had back problems apart from sleeping on a hard mattress :/

It may be the mattress is too hard for you, my numb legs are caused by a bad disc but if you have been sleeping in a poor position it could cause a nerve to be irritated, sounds daft I know but this numb leg thing is ..in my case anyway, only brought on by sitting on something hard, like you describe, plastic chair or similar, mine comes on after a few minutes if I'm not careful so its not quite the same as you, I have other problems which complicate things for me.

I'm not sure really but if it was circulation you would have the same if not worse when lying down too.

Might be best to see the doc to reasure you...
