Dental IV or GA

Hi

I suffer from anixiety - and suffer from bad gag reflex. And unfortunately need two molars removed.

I have been offered GA at the Hospital - but I am considering IV Sedation instead.

Has anyone who suffers from anixiety had IV for dental work, and can share their experience - are you aware of the procedure?

hi peter dentists are 1 of my biggest phobias but i needed 3 teeth out not so long ago and i can honestly say i didnt feel a thing i took a diazepam b4 i went and painkillers and i said to the dentist how long now till tooth out she said it was out 5 mins ago nowadays having teeth out is not a horrible experience i was also offered iv but i declined it and glad i did now as there was no pain whatsoever having them out, i had them out on 3 different occasions as i was scared but if i had to have 3 out again id have them all out in one go good luck and you will be fine if i can do it anyone can
