propanalol question

today is my first day on propanalol and im feeling a little tire is that normal

I think it's normal as your heart rate slows down, i feel more tired on it when i take it, can't remeber if it's one of side effects mentioned in te leaflat.

It is because it slows your heart down so yes you get more tired.

Hi, yes that seems normal to me. I had 40mg x 3 times daily and it helps calm your adrenaline reaction and slows your heart. I felt a bit dozy on it, but that was better than anxiety for me.

You can also call your pharmacist for reassurance if you're still worried.:)

what about a little light headedness is that normal and will it pass?????

Light headedness is completely normal, and symptoms passed completely for me after about a week on Propranolol, but got better within a day or two. At least I knew what I was dealing with. Hope you feel better soon!
