View Full Version : Ribcage-Area Tightness/Spasms - MS?
I've been experiencing this for months. According to Dr. Google, it's a classic symptom of MS, the "ms hug". I'm flipping out. Anyone experience this?

try typing into google tightness and spasms ribcage anxiety? and see what happens !! it will not automatically direct you to MS !!! It is all the intercostal muscles reacting to your anxious frame of mind which keeps on imagining a dreadful disease.

I have been getting a tightness around my ribs or often on one side when sitting down it almost feels like my bones are poking me or are in the wrong the potion and sometimes I feel a pop.
I was thinking it's something to do with my muscles.
Maybe try heat and massage thats a great way to see if it's a muscle issue.
Thanks for the replies, all. :D Makes me feel like I'm not crazy. I've had a lot of weird stuff going on, and I think I'm just going to bite the bullet and go to the neuro for piece of mind at this point.
Did you find what was the cause ?
I'm currently having spasm everywhere but I have a big spasm kinda pressure feeling around my chest
