Have you had a vaccine in the last few days? If so it's normal to experience some swelling in the area where the needle went in, and it should go down within a couple of days. Also, if the lump is under your arm you have lymph nodes there which swell when your body is fighting an infection. From experience I've poked and prodded my armpit lymph nodes to make sure they weren't swollen but poking them can also make them swell. It could also just be a spot under your skin, if you leave it alone it should go away on its own. If its bothersome and you're worried you could visit a doctor.

If it feels like it's in the skin, it is probably either a sebaceous cyst (I have them) or a lipoma, which is just like a pocket of fat. Both are harmless. Does it move at all when you touch it?
