Citalopram and sumatriptan

Hi,

I am taking 20 mg of Citalopram and the side effects at the moment are quite bad, i also suffer from severe migraines and take 100mg of sumatriptan.

last night i had a really bad migraine starting and took a pill and ko'd dead to the world..

today i feel another migraine starting and am too scared to take another pill for it. does any1 else take sumatriptan for migraines and also on cit?.. on the cit leaflet it says to take care when taking sumatriptan but what does that mean?..

The two are not compatible...I take the same for migraines and when my Dr prescribed the Citalopram she said I must not take the Sumatriptan at all whilst on Cit.

I have Co-codamol for migraines but haven't had a Migraine in ages so not had to deal with it.

I think you need to speak to your GP or a Pharmacist ASAP and before you take any more Migraine meds.
