Hi,

Really have bad anx today, Im getting a brace fitted to my upper teeth in the morning

really nervous, although ive chosen to do this of my own back.

Not sure if Im more nervous about having it at 26 years old.

I know it will be worth it but im just worried especially as I start new job monday---what if I talk funny?

Helloo.
I had a brace fitted a few years back. It was a painless, slightly gross, procedure. They just glue each little thing down while putting a tube in your mouth to blow away the water from where he's glueing it. Then he puts the wire round and tightens it.
It hurts a bit afterwards and feels tight bt it goes off after a day, just eat soft things for then. It won't affect your speech at all. Just think in a few years, you will have immacculate teeth :D
