Loss of appetite?

I have taken my first Propanolol (40mg) today and I now have zero appetite. My anxiety and panic are still sky high as well. Is this normal?

Hello :) I lost my appetite when I first started taking them too but it passed. I felt really tired on them too but think that was a mixture of the tablets and not eating. I take the 80mg extended release and it took a few months for them to work properly as my anxiety was off the scale.

Has your doc prescribed just 40mg once a day? Although the 40mg kick in straight away they do wear off as the day goes on. I used to be on them and I felt the symptoms go for a few hours but they then came back :S The extended release ones are better (for me) as it's controlled all day.
