I have been feeling a a bit like I am on a boat today on and off and I am starting to worry that I have got a tumour or something. I had a night out booked with some friends. The night started fine I had a couple of bottles of beer and felt OK. As the night went on I was aware of a feeling of unsteadiness the feeling of been on a boat. I started to think I might pass out and needed to get home to safety.

I worried myself about the fact that I cannot get ill here as the hospital has been having real problems and I have heard real horror stories about it misdiagnosing people. I have been to bed but could not sleep due to the feeling of being on a boat.

I feel hot and flushed all over, I have had three bottles of beer and a small gin and tonic, I usually loose my anxiety when I have had a couple of beers but this time it felt so much worse, Now I am beginning to think that it is something more serious. I have been diagnosed with a bit of hearing loss in my right ear and the ENT specialist has referred me to have an MRI scan to rule out anything more serious. I really cant understand that this is anxiety when I have had 3 beers and a gin and tonic. I am waiting for something bad to happen. I feel a little better while typing this but still extremely light headed. My pulse is about 70-80 bpm. I would expect, if I was having a panic attack, it would show in my pulse?

Please can someone help me. Do you think I should go to A&E??

Okay its been a little while now. I find that answering others posts quite therapeutic. I feel I have calmed a lot now. I don't feel like I am on a boat as much. I feel I could possibly sleep now. Thanks for reading. I would still like your opinions??

I feel like I am on a boat a lot, up / down, side to side, backwards, forwards, (moving sensations) Plus nausea. It's awful :(

Of all the drinks, beer makes me dizzy, no idea why I just know that it does!
When you drink you get dehydrated and your blood sugar drops, that is why drinking makes you hungry ;)
What I do to prevent this, is also drink a fizzy drink like 7up or Sprite. I often bring a few snack bars/cereal bars in my hand bag.

You have been drinking!!! Have a cup of tea, a snack, or orange juice :)
Lying down after drinking makes me very dizzy.
Drinking makes you feel warm and makes your face flush and go red.
It also increases your heart rate causing your anxiety.

You do not go to the ER for dizziness, unless it is so bad that you are falling over!
The weekend is the busiest time , due to drunk people injuring themselves etc...

Glad you are feeling better x
I hope you sleep well :)
