Hey do you know yet what the procedure is?
They are lots of options depending on much cash you have :)
There's the usual dentures, but you can get the teeth in plastic or porcelain.
Um there is also implant supported dentures, where you get a few implants and attach the denture to the posts.
Then they are also implants, where they insert a metal rod and then attach the tooth, but you may need bone grafting etc.. plus implants are about 2000 each ,.

Always get a 2nd opinion when it comes to pulling teeth, once the tooth is gone the bone around it will start to shrink, they only thing that will help are implants, to prevent bone loss. Although I think you may still be able to get bone grafting with you just have dentures.

After your teeth are pulled, it takes about 6 moths for the gums to fully heal,
Most people get temporary cheap dentures, then once your gums/bones are healed you get refitted for permanent dentures.

This girl here, she's rather young got full dentures, although she is considering implants as her face is starting to narrow/change and her permanent dentures are not fitting as "snug" anymore but she has videos of the whole process :)

This is one important thing is after you get the dentures even though they feel weird and uncomfortable you need to wear them until you get used to them.
