Hiya Kizzy,

I get the tingly lips as well and I haven't been snogging either!!

Just another of the anxiety symptoms I would imagine.

Hi Kizzy,

I am sure I have read somewhere before than tingling mouth etc is a sign of overbreathing...just take longer outbreaths and that should help a bit.Its nothing to worry about.

Take care

Hiya

I used to get tingly nose and lips and sometimes fingers and toes when I was just about to get a panic attack. I think its because the blood diverts from non essential places and goes to your organs etc when you are scared in order to prepare for 'fight or flight'

This is similar to Alex's reply on the subject 'Sensations on the head like touching'

Hope this helps

The fingers and toes things is usually the start of hyperventilation and having the C02 and o2 balance out.
