Sir Jimmy Savile has died at the age of 84. R I P Sir Jimmy.

Thanks Ju I am of the right age to remember him on Top of the Pops and Jim will Fix it. He was such a larger than life character. He did a lot to improve the lives of many. EJ.

Bless him and Rest in Peace. Happy nostalgic memories from the 1970s always feature Jim. I just read that they used to receive 20,000 letters a week to Jim'll Fix It.

Sir Jimmy's Funeral will take place on 9th November (Wednesday) 2011 at St Anne's Cathedral - Leeds City Centre, commencing at 2pm. Includes Mass. Public are welcome to attend.
Burial will be in Scarborough on 10th November, on the Clifftop. More details to follow.
Sir Jimmy, RIP. I met him when I was little and he gave me a kiss! What a great inspiration he was, thoughts with his family.
