omeprazole for acid reflux

Hi well went to the docs this morning as really struggling with naueas, burping, stomach pains, lump in throat and retching and heaving and he said it sounds like ive got acid reflux which is common in anxiety sufferers? hes prescrbed me omeprazole once daily and said i should notice a difference in a few days, anybody ever took this and it worked for them? not looked at the side effects as it'll freak me out!!! im currrently in wk 7 of taking citalopram aswel!! xx

Worked like a treat for me much much improved now.

Sadly before they tried that they stuck a camera up my noes to have a look at my throat which was a bit inflamed with it (actuall this was nowhere near as bad as I feared it would be!)

Hi there i have been on omeprazole for 1 year and i find it really good. I suffer really bad with Pure and it causes me a lot of pain in the stomach. Take Care:).......................

Started to improve really quickly a few days.

Although to be honest being told it wasn't "C" made me fell tons better in itself.

Lump in throat, soar throat, hoarse voice, problems swallowing, yup.

Nausea I have always had - nervous I think,

Hi well ive took 2 omeprazole so far, one yesterday and one today and since yesterday ive had an awful headache and this morning i even had a 'small' panic attack, could it be these thats causing this? xx
