Hi All
I'm a 43 year old businessman who has been on some sort of SSRI for the past eight years to combat my panic attacks and low moods as the result of the attacks. Originally on 75mg Venaflaxine which I felt fine on and then on 30mg cipralex then 20mg cipralex and now (recently by my new doctors advice because they cost less to the NHS) on 20mg citalopram which i feel awful on. Not bad enough no to go to work etc. but when i'm home I want to sleep and not interact with the family or go out and socialise.
I am now on a journey to rid my dependance of these vile little rotten white pills and will chart and share my ups and downs with you. I will tell you what is working for me and what is not. As a starter i would recommend reading/listening to Patrick Holfords 'Quit without feeling SXXT'.
