Low blood count 3.5

Hi, rang for some blood results, lft and thyroid came back okay but ive been asked to come see my doctor about low white blood count, 3.5

Worried about what this could mean.... :(

I have had a low white blood cell count several times in the last 18mths. Each time the doc has said to leave it for a while and re-test. Each re-test has shown that the levels have returned to within the normal range.
They've never explained why this happens and have never seemed worried about it. I can't remember exact numbers but I'm pretty sure 3.5 is only just below what it should be???
