Wondering if anyone has any words of wisdom...

I have been doing things to try and get over my anxiety e.g. going to counselling, going to hypnotherapy. The counsellor suggested Progressive Muscle Relaxation exercise and the hypnotherapist has given me a tape to listen to. With both of these, the more often you do them the more effective they are, ideally every day. And I have found both of them a nice experience and helpful.

But every time I think about doing muscle relaxation or listening to hypnotherapy tape, I think "Oh I don't really want to do it, what if I feel anxious whilst I do it... It might remind me of feeling breathless and then I'll feel breathless... I don't want to even think about my anxiety or anything to do with it and listening to the tape / doing relaxation exercises will just remind me of my anxiety more!" Then I feel guilty that I haven't done it that day and more days go by and I worry about not progressing or doing anything about my anxiety. Think I need a bit of help :weep:
