Hi Cherry

Racing thoughts are quite common with anxiety and it happens to me too ... they can go round in circles and you feel like you're getting nowhere fast ... try to do something and focus on it, though don't make it something that is too taxing on you, then your thoughts should slow down

take care

I find simple puzzles quite distracting. Try doing a crossword, card game or something similar. It helps me when I'm trying to get to sleep and my mind is racing.

It's just my high anxiety getting to the best of me. I call him Bingbongilypoop. Then I can laugh at him cos he has a funny name. HAHA! [points]

Hi Cherry

I have the same problem, my minds constantly on the go and i can never relax and chill out, i'm always thinking. I too am avoiding meds like the plague, but i find reading or watching tv a distraction (no medical dramas though!!!!) I usually end up falling asleep in front of the tv every night!!

Hope you can find something to distract you. Take care

Hi Cherry.

Sorry to hear you are feeling like this. Have you spoken to your doctor about how you have been feeling? Do you see a councellor at all? Because that may help. I know that you mean about the racing mind, mine is constantly on the go. Makes me so tired. Perhaps if you went on some meds it may be a good idea. Hope this helps.
