Hi

I suffer from that not here feeling. Its very hard to explain to other people exactly how you are feeling.

Iv had it for a few years now and would love to know how to get rid of it!

Hi united,
I also have that feeling as if im not here i find it one of the hardest symtoms of anxiety to cope with.
To be honest since reading up on it and accepting its caused by my anxieties it has eased but its still there...Im hoping the more i can accapt it as part of anxiety and try not to think or worry about it too much it will gradually disappear.
Try not to worry too much and accept its yet another symptom of anxiety and hopefully it will fade and get better for you!

Take care xx

I've been on 20mg of Citalopram since Oct'05 and since then I've had a noticeably more "distant" time of things.

I can't concentrate, I feel spaced out, and I get distracted easily

It's even caused me to have a car accident due to my lack of concentration [:O]

The tiredness associated with my medication hasnt lessened as the months go on, so it may be worth speaking to your doctor about your medication (if you are taking any) to see if there is another brand etc that may lessen your side effects energy wise
