hiya im on week 4 of stopping sertaline , i still feel jittery , shaking sometimes like i have flu but with no temp......feel tense in my body ....iv started taking vitamin b complex any 1 else felt these symptoms when stopping them ??? ..... anxiety coming on in waves .... ext i took this med for the past 8 weeks at 50mg then halfed down 25mg for the final week. i was a bit sluggish when i began now i have ocd n anxiety due to the fact i took them......:( any 1 else ever had this too?
8 weeks is not acceptable for waiting for a drug to kick in and make a person feel like this...... id love to feel just sluggish!!!
also belly feels tight like im not breathing from it correctly...

However, up to a third of people who stop SSRIs and SNRIs have withdrawal symptoms which can last between 2 weeks and 2 months.
These include:
stomach upsets
flue like symptoms
anxiety
dizziness
vivid dreams or nightmares
sensations in the body that feel like electric shocks (see references)

amazing really as chemist said 1 week , doc said 1 month!!! ......
