tense stomach?

Do any of you feel that all your tension and anxiety is in your stomach? I just feel my stomach is constantly tense and tight and alot of my symptoms are stomach related loose bowels,nausea,pains,lower back ache and always feel full. Anyone else?

Hi Zippy,

I do, I'm currently having a bad bout of stomach acid and am taking Lanzoprole which is helping, I also take mebeverine to help with my Ibs as and when needed.

I'm sure I read somewhere that it is because most of our seretonin receptors are located in our stomach? Which if I read that right (can;t remember where I think Ive seen it) would explain a lot don;t you think?

I already take lansarozapole and have for the last 12 months so mine cant be acid. I dont realise how tense my stomach is until i think about it and try and relax it.
