Hello everyone,

I was just wondering does anyone experience frequent urination as part of their anxiety?

I'm currently suffering from a constant need to go - even when my bladder is obviously not full. It seems to be worse when i'm not busy...and its at its most awful when i'm trying to get to sleep. Although it rarely wakes me up once I am asleep. I'm currently getting only 3 hours sleep a night because of it.

I've been through all the tests and been to a urologist - everything was fine. Could this be anxiety? I even feel the urge at times when I don't feel anxious at all in my head.

Thanks folks
Conor

yes defo anxiety, when my anxiety was at its height i would want to pee constantly, just keep drinking, and just think to yourself its an anxiety wee.

its part of the fight or flight symptoms, your worried or anxious so your body wants to expel everything so you can fight or run,

when this happens with me i think of my dog, when she runs into the garden and barks or gets angry at a noise she always goes and has a wee after, its the adrenalin.

stay strong it will pass.

Yep, I've had this experience. Best thing to do is try and distract yourself from it with something else, computer games or porn are good :)
