Today, my daughter was due at the dental hospital only for formalities but, never the less, I was somewhat "tense" last night. The anx
was breezing its way up to my chest.
Anyway, after a reasonably stress free morning and chitter chatter we made our way there and no probs at all for me.
I felt the anxiety rising on a few occasions but I kept saying "bring it on, come on then" and it went as quick as it arose.
Next trip will involve a bit of shopping too, I think, as she has wanted to go to the local city with me for ages. I have been putting it off for a long time, although I did work there for 10 years when I was "younger" and loved the place.
Anyway, best bit was when we sat in a layby eating our sarnies that she had no idea I was a wee bit frightened and that I might let her down.
This is a little bit of boring success story but, that lovelly feeling you "can" get when you are relaxed was quite overwhelming. BIG smiles from me.
Am not fretting bout the next appointment now.
