Fast heart beat - Night time

I went to sleep at 11:30 was startled at 12:20 don't know why, but could not get my heart rate down past 110 beats. I lyed there checking and trying to avoid hearing it beat so fast. I ended up taking a Lorazapan and then eventually fell a sleep. This has been the worst for me lately. I cannot seem to get this in check.

it will never go down while you are anxiously taking it. i know that because i do it often. read your claire weekes book on night time palpitations and how to settle them

i know how horrible these things are but i have been told time and time again they are harmless

I had that too recently but I was worried about a trip I had to take, is anything on your mind that is bothering you? Sometimes our minds takes things from the day and wakes us up at night with it. I hope it will pass soon.
