breathing funny after doing so little..

yesterday afternoon, I was wrapping up some Christmas pressies and writing some cards, afterwards I was overbreathing like I'd just been running... should this happen?

I have it where i have to take deep breaths sometimes in conversation...Which probably gives the impression that i'm bored with what the person is saying or getting annoyed
with having to explain something. or it might just look stressed. its also when im waiting in a queue or in a waiting room. its wanting to take a really big yawn but have to stay there sitting down or something.
