Hi everyone. Usually when I'm slightly anxious, I like to be at home, surrounded by familiar things as I find them soothing. However, going through some really bad anxiety just now, it's as if the familiar things become unfamiliar and I don't get relaxed, it's as if I'm cut off from things, and isolated and there's only me and my body. I used to take lots of comfort from the blue skies, sun, going for a drive etc... but none of these things seem to help me, it's as though there's a constant black cloud over my head and nothing will make it go away!
Does this make sense to anyone?

We find comfort in the familiar but sometimes our anxiety is stronger then that.

You should try some exercise and burn up your anxiety. The adrenaline running through is keeping you restless, try and use this up. Sometimes i feel to just run (as an ex smoker id collapse lol).

Sometimes i put on a fave movie and can not concentrate for the life of me. I just cant relax sometimes.

Try a nice hot bath, a hot choc and your fave music. Melt it away x x x
