Really horrible chest pain- scared

Last night in bed whilst laying down I had a really short but horrible wave of chest pain in the center, I thought it was my heart and got worried then it calmed down.

then just now whilst laying on the sofa on my side i felt the pain come again but it felt like it rose from my upper stomach then to my chest.

the pain is really strong and hurts real bad but only last a few seconds, also the middle of my back felt achey too :s

im on medication for acid reflux so it cant be indigestion or can it ?

Maybe you should phone NHS 24 just to put your mind at ease?? Or Get in touch with your doctor tomorrow and see if you should continue with the lansoprazole.

It could still be indigestion.

It does sound like acid reflux / indigestion to me but maybe get it checked out if it continues
