For the past week or so I have had a strange noise in my throat. It's not there most of the time but when I breathe in deeply it creates a loud wheeze sound that myself and other people can hear. The wheeze is not there at any other time, just at the end of a deep breath in. I just wonder what it could be, it's not a phlegmy throat because coughing doesn't clear it. I guess
I'm worried it's something that could obstruct my airway or something... Please does anybody have any comments to help me stop worrying about this :-(

Sounds to me like a mucus build up on your chest Hun - nothing to worry about. ;)

I had this back a couple of years ago, the GP said to me that some times the nasty thick mucus can stick, and though it may only be half as big as a 5p piece, it will cause a wheeze or whistle.

I'm sure it's nothing. ;)
