the doctors has put me on sertraline 50mg i do not want to take these tablets i had 1 and it made me feel spaced out and that i was going crazy i just can not take tablets i get all the side effects eny one else on this drug sertraline/zoloft

yes i started them last week. i started on 25mg and it made me feel very strange and a bit depressed for a day or so, but a week on, i'm now on 50mg and i feel great. give them a chance and try to keep yourself occupied for the first few days and i am sure they'll work for you. if not, go back to your gp and get another variety, it's a little bit trial and error. best wishes x

First time I took Sertraline I had a horrible muzzy head, I gave up on them. I am now on week 6 of another attempt and apart from loss of appetite ( which is fabulous, i've lost some weight) I feel so much better. It's well worth battling through.
