My name is Rita and I have been waging war with panic and anxiety for a number of years now. Mostly taking one step forward and another back.
I found this forum by accident and quickly saw that there were others in the same boat as me.
I don't feel so isolated now. Panic and anxiety is such a 'secret' problem. To the outside world we can appear 'fine', 'happy', 'in control' but we're not.
We deserve as much sympathy and support as someone with a 'diagnosed' illness. It's rare we get it.
