indigestion??/ Acid reflux

Ive been suffering with what im describing as indigestion but its more like a burning in my throat I think its acid reflux. Ive been eating rennies and having spoonfulls of gaviscon like nearly everyday now (I know its stress related , relatonship crisis and work issues) Its really at the point where I dont want to eat anthing(even though im hungary), its really horrible and uncomfortable. I was wondering if it continues if its worth going to my doctors, is there stronger medicine that can be pre scribed for this problem??Thanks.xx

Try drinking milk instead of taking antacids. If your prob is caused by low acid instead of too much acid, then over the counter antacids will likely make it worse. Low acid and too much acid, have the same acid relux symptoms.
