constant itching

I am female age 51 and i have just started with constant itching its dring me mad like something crawling oer me :ohmy: i just have red dots where i have scratched,is this a symptom of menopause or something else ?

I have tried body lotion was wondering if anything else would help ?

Sounds like an allergic reaction maybe? I suffer from excema and generally itchy skin. But when something irritates my skin I too come up in red dots. Have you started using anything new? Could be menopausal maybe, my problems started in puberty so I guess it can work the other way round too!
