Hi Sarah

This is really common with anxiety and is due to derealisation or depersonalisation. It is the minds way to protect itself and does resolve as anxiety reduces.

Yes has the anxiety gets better it does reduce and then you'll notice you'll get days where you don't get this and then weeks and so on untill you don't get it. You could go weeks without this then get a couple of weeks with it, its all part of the recovery. The important thing is don't let it stop you doing things and go about your daily routine.

I know exactly what you mean. I've had panic attacks and anxiety for 4 years and I only started feeling unreal after my doctor prescribed me Prozac. It's a horrible sensation caused by the amount of adrenaline, noradrenaline and stress-hormones swooshing around inside us.

It's slowly fading with me (I think). It does take a hell of a long time to get back to normal and the best thing that you can do is to actively try and relax with massages, candles...whatever helps.

I kept getting a tight chest and I could never tell whether it was physical or psychological because I felt so unreal. It really feels like i haven't been here for the last three years.
