No more medication !

Hey,

I need to vent a little.

I was put on zyprexa 4 weeks ago for mood swings...Well in 4th week my harmful OCD thoughts came back and I got really down I decided I wanted to die.

However I didn't panic at all I was calm about it because of the zyprexa..I ended up in hospital for a night.

I done with medications now, I can't stand the idea of not knowing what is making feel what.

I will from now on take my anxiety with CBT and other methods.

NO MORE DRUGS

Hi sorry your having a rough time :hugs: zyprexa is olanzapine isn't it?? ive heard its quite good for anxiety what strength were u taking? could u have been on too high and thats why u had the adverse effects?, hope you manage to work your way through with cbt which is supposed to be fantastic xx

I was taking the lowest dose, 2.5 but I'm very sensitive to medications.

The medication may not have made my OCD worse, I mean I haven't had OCD for over a year and I let my guard down.
