At first I assumed it was viral laryngitis after reading about hoarseness and a sore throat online. But then I added 'lump' to the search (google! i usually don't but, ironically, i wasn't worried this time because coming down with a sore throat in winter is common). I feel like there's a lump in my throat (inside, obviously... there doesn't feel like there's one from the outside, at least to my hands, but i have no idea). The website said that it can be symptomatic of GERD but could also mean that there's an actual (dangerous) lump growing.
Isn't GERD chronic, not acute? I've never had it. So now I'm a little concerned. Thoughts?

I also have a stomach ache but that could be my period coming on.

ETA: I'm an 18 year old woman who doesn't drink or smoke, so I'm not that type of cancer's favorite demographic. But I suppose it could still happen?

Hiya,

I'm a 53 year old man with symptoms not a million miles away from your own.

Please try not to worry, at 18 your body is as good as it will ever be. You don't drink or smoke and from my knowledge of the human body the chances of anything seriously wrong with you is negligible.

As for period pains and possible PMT consider taking Krill oil. Research Krill oil for yourself and you will see it's one of the best things you can take to keep you healthy.

You got your whole life in front of you. I only wish I was 18 again!
