Pain in throat when inhaling?

Woke up this morning and when I take a deep breath I feel like someone is stabbing my throat/neck. It's not flu or a virus etc as I'm ok everywhere else.

Can this be reflux or gerd as I'm having a flare up just now. I'm on omeprazole.

If it feels like a super painful cramp that kind of "pops" and goes away, it's a fairly common thing that happens occasionally to some people. There are a few threads on here about it. If it's more of an all day type thing or "sore" it might just be that you pulled something while sleeping.
