Hi - anyone else on here been diagnosed with SAD?
Having lived in sunny South Africa until moving here 6yrs ago I thought I was imagining that as soon as autumn came round I felt depressed and highly anxious. Just getting out of bed on a winter morning is a task.
I have over the last few years ended up at the gp begging for antidepressants by the middle to end of winter, going through the horrible side effects and then when spring/summer rolls around I feel great again and stop the meds.
Just wondering if there are any fellow sufferers out there.....
Back on Citalopram and using a light box - only on day 2 however...
