How can I cure my white coat syndrome?

I have no idea how you can cure your white coat syndrome, I've been trying for years. When I do my bp at home, it's 125/80. When the doc does it, it's 170/90.
Crazy. My doc is lovely, she makes me feel relaxed, talks to me and is very kind, but I'm still terrified every time I see her. Good job hse trusts me to do it myself.

Cathy you really are your own worst enemy, By reaching and hoping for a cure you are adding tension to the mix. As I have said before you must accept that you have white coat syndrome, go to the doctors knowing its an issue but not trying to cure it there and them. You may be pleasently surprised by your blood pressure reading if you go with the spirit of acceptance.
It's the constant looking for help that is causing the problems, let it go.
