Hi Julie,

Numbness is a fairly compton symptom. I have experienced it in fingers, feet, thigh and chin at various times.

It will most likely go away in time, and possibly be replaced by another symptom.Try and forget about it by distracting yourself.

Take Care,

Hi, yes I have had numbness too at times. I usually get it on my face. It's a horrible feeling but it does pass.

I have never had numbness but today my left arm has been numb and tingles.. I just started Zoloft and wanted to blame it, but I bet it is anxiety. I have also had many muscle twitches today.

hiya,
when i first started suffering with anxiety i suffered really badley with numbness. it started in my legs and gradually made its way up to my face, shoulders and neck.
its has passed now although i do still get the ocassional 'attack'.

i try not to get worked up about it so much now like i did and i try to distract myself by doing other things.

take care

I have been having the numb face also. It last for minutes or even hours sometimes. Do you also get a headache from it too? I just started getting panic attacks about 3 months ago.

Take care

Hi,
Ive suffered with a lot of numbness due to my anxiety, hands, legs arms, and face. I think it has something to do with blood being diverted to our muscles because of panic. I agree it is horrible but it is harmless and will pass.
I also get headaches caused by my anxieties and panics Spencer, headaches are commen symptom of anxiety because of the tension.Hope you feel better soon!
Take care xx
