Hey people,

First of all, thankyou to anyone who i've have talked to...everyone's been great!

I have a real fear of my heart just stopping and i often get palpitations..sometimes ectopics but also just random beats that I can feel in my chest! does anyone else get those?? Im also feeling really faint alot, even when i am not hyperventilating which is scaring me lots!

Anyhoo, I am desperate to be able to feel my pulse whilst i get these so I can see if it's irregular, but i just daren't do it!! evry time i go near it my heart skips a beat..its awful!! has anyone else this fear or advice on how to get over it!?

Hope everyone is getting on ok,

Will x

Definitely not alone, heart racing and palpitations whenever I get panic, or just feel anxious, or sometimes for no reason.

Take care

Hi Will

I had exactly the same problems as you, racing heart, palpitations and they did scare me to death, i used to be scared to go to sleep because i thought i would'nt wake up in the morning!!! I just thought that my heart would stop beating and whenever i tried to take my pulse i could'nt find it. After a while of thinking i was going mad or going to die, i realised that i was still here, alive and well and i stopped dwelling on my heart all the time, and now i don't notice them any more.

Take care.
