Palpitations after propranolol anyone?

Hi,

I have been prescribed 40mg propranolol tablets to take as needed for panic attacks and palpitations.

I find they work well, but have noticed that the following day, my palpitations are increased.

Anyone else experience this, or know why?

This has never happened to me and I've been taking them since April.

I take the slow release ones. I imagine you will be more sensitive to palpitations the day after if you are not taking propranolol regular.

When the Doctor prescribed them she said I could take them as and when or that I could take them daily. The box says 1 tablet 3x a day. I was reluctant to take 3 a day though as I don't want to get hooked.

Can I ask how much you take daily and if it helps?

I do sometimes get a fluttery heart like my heart is skipping a beat but it tends to happen when i'm tired so it could just be tiredness x
