I am someone that has had problems with panic attacks. I seem to control the now simply by not letting them totally take over. Once I came to the realization that it was mostly "all in my head", they seem to be easier to control by just by trying to roll with it and talking myself out of it. The biggest thing I did was come to grips with my alcoholism. They seemed to fewer and absent for longer periods.
