Hello all,
I am new to this forum. I've always been very anxious about my health but even more so following being diagnosed with a DVT in my pregnancy and appendicitis all in the space of a year.
I have had a pea sized moveable lump in the right side of my neck for years. I became very anxious about it recently and went to the Drs about 2 weeks ago. He felt both sides of my neck and said it was a lymph node and not to worry and to stop feeling it. He said it will have become enlarged through in illness and just never gone down. Since then I haven't been able to stop prodding my neck looking for others, and have found another on my left side. This one is still soft and moveable, but moves less than the other and is flatter.
I have been reading up about lymphoma and fretting that I have it. I often get quite hot at night and I do itch.
Can anyone offer me any reassurance? The Dr said that suspicious neck nodes would be hard, immobile and bigger than 1cm...
