my partner has gone cold turkey

hi,
my partner of 5 years has been taking citalopram for about 2 years. her dose has been between 20-40mg depending on how she has been feeling.

she has gone cold turkey, against my advice, and after 6 days or so of not taking, it seems she is suffering...

what should i do?

don;t know what you can do but its not a good idea to stop taking the medication completely. I went a few days without taking it last week because of a mix up with my precription and my the last day I was in a terrible state.

It isnt a good idea to go cold turkey with ssri's as you will experience many side effects & an increase in depression or anxiety. The only thing your partner can do is to contact her doctor.
